Bicycling Along Lower Manhattan’s Waterfront

I rented a bicycle (from Pedal Pushers on 2nd Avenue near 68th Street) and rode it along 2nd Avenue towards Downtown.  At around 23rd Street I went into the park that goes along the East River and onto the bicycle path.

My beautiful pictureSoon it became very crowded with pedestrians so I walked for awhile.

This is where the Hudson River Bicycle Path begins.
